CAN I USE YOUR VESSEL?

2 Tim 2:21…Every human being is a special and wonderful vessel [Ps 139: 14] designed by God to render a particular service on earth which ultimately is the fulfillment of Divine Purpose.

Man is the most peculiar among God’s creation; man was the only creature created in the image of God and empowered with His breathe to dominate and subdue the entire earth [Gen. 1: 27 – 28] [Gen 2: 7] The empowerment, endowment and uniqueness of Man can only be to the fulfillment of a Divine Mandate and nothing else. Your mobile phone is equipped for communication, using that same phone only as a calculator makes it almost useless just like you can’t use your flat screen TV only as a mirror.

When the use of a thing is unknown, abuse is inevitable. Your usefulness determines your value e.g the value of the Samsung S5 cannot be compared with a Nokia 2700 because these 2 devices differ in usefulness and capacity.

What is Purpose?

Purpose can be defined as the original intention for the creation of a thing; a human existing without knowledge of God and his purpose can only be described as “worthless” and “irrelevant” on earth [1 John 3: 1].

In the beginning, man was fully empowered to fulfill his primary mandate which was to multiply, subdue, dominate and take total care of earth and all its inhabitants, but men lost this authority to the devil due to the disobedience of our the 1^st man Adam and Eve when they were deceived by satan and ate the forbidden fruit. Since then, mankind became vulnerable to all kinds of suffering, problems, infirmities, evil attacks and humiliation for our adversary, satan due to man’s misplaced authority.

Sin or disobedience robbed us off our power and glory [Romans 3:23]. Right from the early days of Adam and Eve, man has continually abused the privilege of choice; preferring the ways of world and deciding to partake of the sinful needs of the flesh which eventually makes us enemies to our Maker Jehovah [James 4:4].

But all things work together for good to them that are called to the fulfillment of a Divine Mandate [Romans 8: 28]; all our troubles of life can be traceable to a purposeless life but since we could not get consumed, he only used travails to turn us back to Him. All hope is not lost, due to the fact that God is the personification of undiluted, uncompromised and incomparable LOVE. In his mighty love he chose to take the first, bold and sacrificial step to reconcile us back to Him [Romans 5:10] and his purpose for our lives [Romans 8:30 – 32] by manifesting his only begotten Son, Jesus Christ in flesh [John 3: 16] to dwell among us to teach [Mathew 7:29], to be tortured and to be crucified to death only to arise from death on the 3^rd day for our salvation, redemption and restoration of our lost glory and power [Acts 26:23].

Jesus is the source of power and enablement [Luke 10:19]; he is the only way to salvation and redemption [John 14: 6]. Just believe in this truth and you will be a partaker of this glory; accept “the life” and reject death (sin/ways of the flesh).

In all of God’s might and in the magnitude of what he has sacrificed, he’s knocking at the door of heart at this moment asking you this favor; CAN I USE YOUR VESSEL?

If the answer to that question was NO, please bear in mind that this message has played its part by reaching out to you any other consequence of your complete rejection will be yours to suffer alone when at the end you will give account of what purpose your life here on earth achieved.

But if the answer to that question was YES! Congratulations, you’ve just made the most important decision you’ve ever made in life. Let’s begin with 3 easy steps;

Lord Jesus, I thank you for paying the price for my salvation and redemption,

Forgive me O Lord from my sins, I wash my mind and heart from the sinful ways of the flesh with the Blood of Jesus,

I hereby confess that you are Lord; I surrender my life unto you,

I re-dedicate my life unto your service,

Holy Spirit take total control of my life,

In Jesus name I pray……AMEN!!!

2.       Read 4 chapters of the Holy Bible everyday as led by the Spirit or follow any Bible reading guide by studying the life and teachings of a particular character. This will enlighten you more on your journey in discovering and fulfilling of your Divine Mandate
